Rates and Conditions

A Minerva Programme for short-term exchange between Germany and Israel funded jointly by the Federal Ministery for Education and Research and the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology.

Flights are covered with an amount of € 350,00 in advance. In total up to € 700,00 can be reimbursed, if the original airline tickets are sent to Minerva after the recipient’s return to her/his home country.

Conditions

The selection of the applications will be carried out by the Minerva Fellowship Committee within six weeks after the deadline and communicated to the applicants accordingly. Please note that, according to your deadline, you have to fulfill the following requirement:

  • 2 May: The earliest possible starting date of the Fellowship is 1 July of the same year. The Fellowship must be completed until 31 December of the same year;
  • 2 November: The earliest possible starting date of the Fellowship is 1 January of the following year. The Fellowship must be completed until 30 June of the following year.

 

Grant recipients are requested to submit a one to two page report to Minerva within two weeks after completing their research visit [to: ]. The report should reflect on the experiences of the research stay and be structured according to the following points: research, cooperation, publications, future perspectives and personal impressions. In addition, recipients who take part in a conference or a workshop are asked to submit its final programme. Please note that copies of the report from Israeli scientists must also be sent to .
